Wishlist: My favorite things for a walk in winter wonderland

We’re off to a little snow adventure in Zürs at Arlberg today, where we will spend some time at Hotel Zürserhof to go skiing and enjoy the snow. I’m very excited since I’m going to try skiing again this winter after I have been snowboarding for almost 20 years… Thankfully Patrick turned out to be a very patient teacher and is wiling to give me some skiing lessons. So let’s hope for the best!
I’d also like to introduce you to a new post category on You rock my life: I will share so called Wishlists here from time to time, showing you my favorite pieces for certain occasions, stuff that I am dreaming of, or things that are currently on my wish list. So here it goes – my Wishlist for a walk in winter wonderland:

1. H&M cashmere beanie: There’s hardly anything I love more in winter than beanies. By now I’ve gathered quite the collection and usually don’t leave the house without one. My bestie gifted me with this one for Christmas, and I absolutely adore the peachy color to brighten up cold winter days.
2. MISS ÉTOILE thermos bottle: I’m always cold. That’s a fact. No matter how many layers I put on, I’m usually freezing immediately. The only thing that really helps is to try warming up from the inside. So maybe carrying around this cute thermos bottle filled with hot tea on a winter walk would do the trick?
3. MANGO oversized knit sweater: One of my go-to favorites at temperatures below 0°C are oversized, heavy knit sweaters. I love combining them with leather leggings or skinny jeans, and it’s easy to wear lots of layers underneath without looking too bulky. This version by Mango is definitely a perfect winter wardrobe staple!
4. BOBBI BROWN lip balm: When it comes to lip balm, I’m constantly trying out new ones… However, this one by Bobbi Brown has been with me for a while now. It’s been lasting for months already, it’s neither too sticky nor too shiny and it comes with SPF 15. Also, I love the simple packaging it comes in.
5. VALENTINO rockstud lockbag: Probably THE best investment I’ve made this past year! When I saw this bag for the first time, it simply took my breath away. First of all, because it was love at first sight. Secondly, because of the price tag it’s attached to. Nevertheless, it was totally worth saving for and splurging on, and I still love it like on day 1.
6. CHANEL nail polish: Some of you have been asking about the nail polish I’m wearing in this picture. It’s actually a Shellac called Winter Glow by CND, but Chanel’s Pink Rubber comes pretty close to it. I love light pink nails in winter, they are my favorite alternative to rich reds and dark shades.
7. H&M cashmere scarf: A proper scarf can be a life saver in so many situations. Use it as a blanket, wrap it around your neck and disappear in it, put it over your head when it’s snowing… One piece, endless possibilities! I’ve treated myself to an Acne scarf in a similar color on our trip to Stockholm this year, but I absolutely love this cashmere version by H&M. Also, it’s matching with the beanie!
8. MOON BOOT snow boots: They have been on my wishlist since Christmas and I still think Moon Boots make the perfect companion for walks in a winter wonderland. Now I just have to decide which color to get. Which ones are your favorite?
