Photography in the streets of Salzburg

One thing I’ve learned about photography so far is, no matter what equipment you use, the style of the photos is always the result of the photographer. If you give 3 photographers the same camera with the same lens, and even if they use the same setup – you will still get three completely different pictures as a result. Of course great equipment helps and enables you to get the most out of the moments you want to capture, but in the end what counts much more than any equipment is the sensitivity that is put into the process of taking a photo. I’ve been working together with Theresa for over a year now, and when I first met her she was like a little whirlwind – wild at heart, her head full of ideas and a bit chaotic at times. Basically, an artist through and through. However, one characteristic she always had is passion. No matter if we were shooting vegetables, yoghurt cups or bikinis in Mexico – her passion for photography is omnipresent and something you get easily infected by when you’re around her. The other day Theresa asked me if we could do a little streetstyle shooting together, and of course I was up for the fun. So we took the camera and walked through the streets of Salzburg to shoot an outfit. Below you can see some of my favorite pictures of that day – I’m really happy with the outcome and love the moody style of the shots. If you’re curious who’s that girl I’m talking about, check out her website and follow her on Instagram to see more of her work.
