Home Office Attire & The Marc O’Polo 5O’Bag
I’ll be honest with you: I’ve spent January mostly in my sweatpants. Either because I did sports (new year’s resolutions still going strong), or because I was sick, or because I’m in my home office. I’m working from home now most days of the week and I’ve been indulging in the luxury of just dressing in the most comfortable clothes I have – because: no one cares, right? Some days, the only time I’m leaving the house is to walk Maxi or to quickly grab some groceries at the shop on the end of the street. So why dress up? Fair enough, I thought so too. But in all honesty, I do miss dressing up a lot. I’ve been working in a creative agency over the past two years, which means it was totally okay if you wanted to show up in sweatpants, but at least I knew I would meet people and had my routine to get ready in the morning. So I decided, even though I know I’ll spend the day alone in my home office, I will dress up nevertheless from now on. Just for the sake of it – and just to feel like myself. I’ve always believed that dressing up helps to improve your mood so much. For example: When you make an effort for your hair and make up and you wear an outfit you particularly like, you just feel put together. It makes you feel like as if you’ve got this – no matter if that’s actually the case or not, it will still boost your self-esteem.
So here’s the first outfit I’ve put together to spend a day in my home office: My new Closed Mom Jeans, a Chanel-like blazer and a funky t-shirt to add some color. Et voilá – totally ready to rock this new home office situation.
Also new: The Marc O’Polo 50’Bag. It’s the latest addition to my bag family and I already love it dearly! I’ve told you in this post before that I’m quite picky when it comes to bags. Although I can’t complain about current collection of bags, what was missing until now definitely was a classic black shopper. Commuting between Salzburg and Vienna on a regular basis, I have to carry my Laptop, charger and so on in my bag. So a shopper makes perfect sense to have everything I need in one place. Especially when it comes with short and long straps that makes it super handy. Another fact I really like about the Marc O’Polo 50′ Bag is that it’s limited to 1.967 pieces and each bag comes with its own number – just like the Lara bag. For their 50th anniversary Marc O’Polo teamed up with 12 international artists to design the interior of the bag which gives them a very special touch. And another great fact about the 5o’Bag: For each bag sold Marc O’Polo donates 10€ to the Kinderkunsthaus in Munich. One more good reason to buy it <3
