Wishlist: Woman Shopping Day

It’s this time of the year again: Woman shopping day is just around the corner (5th of October!), which means it’s time for a little wishlist. As most of you Austrian girls probably know, Woman Magazine is having a big shopping day twice a year and lots of participating shops are offering up to -50%. Every year I take advantage of this day to stock up on my beauty favorites or eventually start thinking about Christmas already and get some presents for my loved ones. In order to get the vouchers you’ll need to get the discounts, you can either simply buy the latest issue of Woman Magazine, or download the vouchers here.

I already have my eyes on some things this year, and I thought I’d share my list with you. Some of the things are all time favorites I’ve been using for years, and some things have been on my wishlist for a while. The chance to get them 20% off is a legit reason to finally give in and try them, right?!

PS: In my experience, the city and shops are very crowded during Shopping Day. To avoid queuing for ages, I personally love to simply shop online on this very day. The vouchers are also valid for most online stores.

CHANEL Gabrielle perfume
Oh this smell! If you haven’t tried it already, please do so asap. Admittedly, I might be a bit biased because I’ll connect the smell of Gabrielle to the magical trip with Chanel to France, but it has seriously become one of my favorites perfumes lately. I still have a full bottle at home, but I have someone special in mind who I think would love the perfume as much as I do, and you know: Christmas is coming soon…

BOBBI BROWN hydrating face cream
At a recent event with Bobbi Brown in Vienna, I got to try the Hydrating Eye Cream, which is the perfect base for the new Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer (which I wear on a daily basis, btw!). Since I love the texture of the eye cream, I’m now super curious to try out the face cream, too.

ZOEVA brush set
This brush set has been on my wishlist forever! Everyone who uses the Zoeva brushes is always raving of them. Although I think it’s great value for money, it’s still a little bit of an investment… but at 20% I think I’ll finally have to splurge on them and make myself a belated birthday / early Christmas present.

NESPRESSO capsules
It’s not just beauty stores like Douglas & Marionnoud who participate in Woman Day, but also lots of other stores! One of them being Nespresso, where I always stock up on capsules. Because you can’t have enough coffee in storage, right!?

MAC Fix+
One of the beauty products I have been buying again and again over the years is definitely MAC’s Fix+ spray. It’s a lightweight water mist that gently soothes and refreshes skin, and finishes makeup. It seriously is the holy grail! I often use it as primer and setting spray, because it lets you apply your foundation very evenly if you use it beforehand, and if used as a setting spray it makes sure your skin doesn’t look too powdery.

MANGO blazer
If you don’t have a blazer already, now’s the time to get your hands on one! A blazer is probably the most wanted piece of the season, no matter if checked or classic. Paired with a simple pair of jeans and t-shirt it will always make you look sophisticated. Business casual at it’s best. Also, it’s an investment that will never go out of style.

JO MALONE diffuser
Ever since falling head over heels for Jo Malone in Australia, it seems like I’m getting a bit obsessed with the brand. But seriously, their products are amazing. I have one of these diffusers at home (English Pear & Freesia) and it’s been making our place smell dreamy for over 5 months now, and it’s still more than half full! Pomegranate Noir is the smell we’re currently having at the Daily Dose office, and every time I walk in I fall in love with it again. I’d love to have it for my office in Salzburg as well, so it’s definitely on my shopping list this Thursday.
