Armani Ecstasy Shine – 24 hours in Paris with Giorgio Armani

This year, I’ve been to Paris twice already, and both times it was for super happy reasons: I remember the day I flew to Paris with Armani Beauty like yesterday, although it’s already two months ago. For the launch of their new innovative lipcream, Giorgio Armani Beauty invited me to Paris to discover the new Ecstasy Shine lipstick range first hand. In the most beautiful setting of Paris 4th arrondissement, Armani pulled out all the stops to introduce bloggers from all around the world to their new masterpiece. Different stations at the venue were build up to explore all details of the Ecstasy Shine lipstick: In a photo booth filled with balloons we were able to take funny selfies and little videos, in a dark room a professional video crew took a short 3D video of us, and of course Armani make up artists made sure we looked pretty and our lips were center of attention thanks to Ecstasy Shine.

Ecstasy Shine is not “just another lipstick”, but it’s fully packed with an innovative formula, that makes it twice as soft as a traditional lipstick. The innovative alternation of heating and cooling phases leads to a soft, lightweight texture with radiant mirror shine and enhances ease in application. In other words: Ecstasy Shine glides onto the mouth and leaves a super fine protective and soft film on them. The result is impeccably shiny and the lips are nourished without compromise on color.

The lipstick comes in 18 joyous pop shades which all deliver a radiant, mirror shine. The Ecstasy Shine palette ranges through glowing nudes and neutrals, like ‘Smile’ and ‘Play’, to pop hues of vibrant coral, orange-reds and pinks, like ‘Desire’, ‘Maharajah’ and Armani’s signature ‘Rouge 400’ – which is a must have, by the way! My two favorite colors are ‘Ecstasy’, which is a dark berry red, and perfect for fall. And ‘Smile’, because it’s the perfect nude color for every day.

Although my day in Paris only had 24 hours, I made the most of it and enjoyed every minute of it. I was very lucky to stay in a super beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the charming 2nd arrondissement. The hotel alone made me feel trés Parisienne the minute I entered it. Dark blue walls, white marble and golden details are the key elements of this little jewel in Rue Bachaumont. The fantastic place is called Hotel Bachaumont and I can highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in the city of love. The service was super friendly, the interior was dreamy, the bed was very comfy and the bar serves an excellent glass of Rosé, just saying.

My favorite part, next to getting to know Ecstasy Shine, was just sitting outside in on of the little Cafés in the cute area of the hotel, watching all the trés chic people passing by. It’s true what they say: Paris breathes fashion and style like air. Au revoir, Paris! I’ll be back soon, for sure.
