Black & White

When in doubt: Wear black. When you want to make the outfit a bit friendlier: Add white. That’s the formula for most of the days when I’m standing in front of my closet, wondering what to wear. The mix of black and white simply works for anything and is just a classic. Every time I opt for this combination I have to think of the Chanel logo. The signature double C, white on black, so simple and yet so significant and beautiful. A clever person once said “beautiful things don’t ask for attention”. And ain’t that the truth? It sometimes seems to me the simpler an outfit, the more significant it is. That’s why I think basics are by no means boring, but build the best outfits.
