I’m a big fan of contrasts. Whether it’s modern houses with pieces of old furniture or going to fancy parties at night and going for a hike the next day. Also when it comes to clothes, I’m really into mixing and matching different styles and materials. That’s exactly why I like this outfit so much: Delicate lace and a crochet top, paired with chunky boots and loose hair. Especially the combination of midi-skirts and boots always makes me feel effortlessly chic and cool at the same time. While I’ve been drooling over the Balenciaga Ceinture ankle boots and the Givenchy Prue boots for some time, (which are just out of reach for now) I found an affordable version of classic biker boots at Zara the other day which caught my attention right away. When I first thought they won’t work for summer, I must say they are actually really comfortable to wear and due to the cut-outs on the sides not at all warmer than my Stan Smith leather sneakers for instance.
I’m super happy with the boots and can’t wait to pair them with a white lace dress or denim shorts. What do you guys think about the “boots for summer” trend?
On another note: I’m now packing my bags for another wedding shoot tomorrow at the beautiful Starnberger See in Bavaria, which is going to take place in a circus tent. I’m super excited for this extraordinary wedding and can’t wait to see how it’s going to be! Make sure you follow along Snapchat (ninawro) if you want to see some sneak peaks.
