Lace Up details

I’ve been taking a little time off the blog and also social media to recharge my batteries while I was at home with my family over Christmas. I was basically living in my pyjamas for the past few days and did nothing except for watching holidays movies, sitting in front of the fireplace with my dogs, and enjoying amazing homecooked meals with my people. Heaven on earth! As much I love (and needed) this downtime, as happy am I on the other hand that New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and it’s time to dress up again. For everyone who had one too many cookies this Christmas like me, I can highly reccomend this outfit to kiss the old year goodbye and welcome 2017. Black, as we know, is always in our favor and the fancy lace up detail will catch all eyes for sure – so no one will pay attention to any extra pounds on the hips or belly. By adding my new favorite faux fur vest I’m good to watch the fireworks at midnight, and the boots will enable me to dance into the new year way past the clock strikes 12 o’clock.
