Stars & Stripes

When looking for outfit inspiration in magazines, on other blogs or simply on the street I sometimes have the feeling that the craziest combinations of clothes create the coolest styles. Hence, when it comes to fashion, there’s nothing that’s impossible. Which is also one of the reasons why I love it so much. No matter how you feel, you can always express it with the help of fashion.  Tough girl boss on one day, super comfy couch potato on the other. Every occasion deserves its own outfit, and every outfit has its purpose. And sometimes there are days you have to combine the girl boss and the comfy world. On those days, you simply mix a super comfortable piece with something that gives you a powerful attitude. In this case: PJ pants and heels.
I recently came across Who is Mocca’s call to create an outfit with Stars & Stripes and I knew that my new PJ pants would be the perfect fit. And why not combine it with some stripes, I thought. Because let’s be honest – the stripe t-shirt whether it’s fitted, oversized, long sleeve, short sleeve or in any other form – is always a good idea.  Stripes are always a favorite go-to of mine. Since I consider my style laid-back with a touch of rock’n’romance, combining pants with stars and a ruffled blouse with stripes just totally sounded like my thing. No sooner said that done!
