Over the knee, over the moon!

I’m over the moon! I’ve finally found a pair of overknee boots that’s perfect for me. I can’t deny that I’ve had a thing for boots like these for a while now – simply because they work with so many outfits and make your legs look longer than they are.

In all honesty: I’m actually blaming my crush on overknees on Pinterest. Don’t we all love those cool outfits consisting of a heavy knit jumper and over-the-knee boots – and nothing else? I can’t really pull this look off in Salzburg in January without risking to catch a cold immediately, so I came up with my interpretation of this pinterst-worthy outfit.

Anyways, back to the boots: I think they are very flattering and can be worn with dresses, skirts, jeans, leggings – you name it. Since last fall I’ve been trying to find over-knees that are flat, but won’t make me look clinched. Lucky enough, I found these killer boots online at Peek & Cloppenburg (currently on sale!) and –  to my surprise  – I found out they have a small hidden heel once they arrived. They couldn’t be any more perfect: They are flat (so I can actually walk with them), the hidden heel gives me those extra 5 cm height and a better posture, and they turn any casual daytime outfit into a stylish look.

I definitely feel a little extra when wearing them and already know I’ll be returning to them many times this season.
