Rainy Summer Day

There’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. At least that’s what my grandma always preaches. If you ask me, 12 degrees and pouring rain end of July is undoubtedly the definition of bad weather. But no matter how furios and angry I am about this current weather situation, I won’t be able to change it.
When I stood in front of my closet this morning, trying to figure out what shoes to wear, (I wore Espadrilles yesterday which were soaked up before I even got to the office = no good) a pair of pretty cool rain boots  caught my eye. I’ve received the Sorel Joan wedge rain boots as a PR sample at the beginning of summer, and secretly hoped I would not have to wear them that often, but everyone who has experienced summer in Salzburg knows that rain is just part of it. So instead of being moody and sad the whole day, I decided to get my rain boots on and embrace the “bad weather”. When a girl at the grocery store asked my about my cool rain boots this morning, my mood was brightened up in a heartbeat anyways. The moral of the story is: Positivity is key. And it feels awesome to have dry feet!
