Cowboy boots & superhero capes

This weekend our friend Alex asked us to shoot some new photos of him for his portfolio. We met at our favorite place Restaurant Paradoxon for brunch and then went off for a little shooting with him. It’s been so much fun to be behind the camera and learning some photography tricks. I’ve always been into photography but never really knew how to tackle this challenge. Now I got one of Patricks’s old cameras to play around with and I’m totally falling for DSLR photography! Until now I only took my photos with system cameras like my Olympus Pen EPL-7, which I absolutely adore and highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a cool and small camera. Taking photos with a DSLR camera is a game changer though. All the light you’re able to get in and all the different lenses that change the style of the photos so much is simply fascinating me. I’m really keen to learn more and can’t wait to assist Patrick when he’s shooting the first wedding of the season this year.
