Salzburg Guide: Café Fingerlos

By now, everyone who knows me will probably agree I’m obsessed with brunching. One of our go-to places in Salzburg for that matter sure is Café Fingerlos. Not just because it’s right in our neighborhood, but also because it offers a great variety of different breakfast packages. It’s our choice if we’re in the mood for a traditional and easy-going brunch on weekends, or – our fridge is empty – for a quick stop in the morning before we go to the office. Especially in summer it’s also a very lovely place for a coffee date on their terrace, in the heart of Salzburg’s beautiful Andräviertel.

Café Fingerlos is also chic on the inside though. The interior reminds me a bit of a typical Viennese Café: marble tables, old chairs and a huge display of their homemade pastries, which by the way are to die for. Since I sometimes miss my old hometown Vienna badly, this place always makes me feel very comfortable. My favorites on the menu are the “Vital Breakfast” or “Salmon Breakfast” and Patrick usually gets the “Fingerlos Breakfast”. And another cool thing is: They serve breakfast the whole day! Late risers, thank me later.
