Christmas Jazz Playlist
This is the season… of the attack of the sonic mistletoe! Christmas music is everywhere. Not that I would mind, to be honest. After this post two years ago, it’s probably no secret anymore that I’m a fierce lover of Christmas music and don’t mind playing it from November 1st on. I still love hearing “Last Christmas” and “All I want for Christmas is you” on the radio, and – to my husband’s delight (insert sarcasm here) – I also love singing along. However, I get that people are fed up with it and even the biggest Christmas music aficionado likes to treat their ears to some sound variety.
I’ve been listening to a lot of classic music and instrumental jazz this year, especially while working. I don’t know where this stems from, but I just can’t do anything without music as background noise. The more I have to concentrate, the more likely I’ll turn on the music. So while I was preparing my holiday playlist this season, I found lots of beautiful instrumental versions of some of my favorite Christmas songs.
No matter if you’re looking for a playlist to go with a cozy afternoon on the couch while you’re enjoying some Christmas cookies, or the perfect music to play during Christmas dinner – this playlist will have you covered. No singing that will interfere with your conversations, just some sweet sound that will get you in the right Christmas mood…
I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. Have yourself a merry little Christmas everyone!
PS: If you’re looking for more Christmas Music – look no further: Here’s the collection of my personal favorite Christmas songs, and a playlist dedicated to all the beautiful old Christmas songs out there.
