Sundays with a view

Salzburg is by no means a big city, but I still love to go somewhere outside the center on weekends. During the week I often have the feeling I’m caught up between my home and the office – which luckily lies within a radius of 10km – but this can feel a bit limited at times.

Salzburg is surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes and lots of nature, which gladly makes it easy to escape the city if you feel like it. There are various places we love to go to on weekends or after work to relax, breath in nature and calm down. Last Sunday I went to Maria Plain for the first time, which will definitely be a new favorite hang out! It’s only a 10 minute drive away, overlooking the city with the most beautiful church on top of a hill. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful view over Salzburg, go for a walk and of course take some pictures along the way. Can’t wait to take Maxi there for a run this spring!
